BizMan Financials 1.1 is Available

BizMan Financials now supports Simply Accounting Pro® 8.5
April 8, 2001 -- Remember when you could print a Balance Sheet with the assets on the left and liabilities and equity on the right? Ever wanted to show the account numbers on one print out and then quickly turn them off for the next? Want to change the formatting or create new reports based on account totals? Then BizMan Financials 1.1 is the program for you.

BizMan Financials 1.1 extends the report-writing capabilities of Simply Accounting® by allowing you to generate different views of your data using Crystal Reports. You can use or modify the templates that come with the program, or generate your own. You can change fonts, position, or colour, and add text, watermarks or logos. Report on only the accounts you want to see by not displaying the subgroup accounts, or by specifically selecting revenue and cost of goods account numbers to report on. BizMan Financials 1.1 supports both Simply Accounting® 8.0 and Simply Accounting Pro® 8.5.

BizMan comes with sample templates to print Balance Sheets and Income Statements in either one or two columns and with a template that has a "Confidential" watermark and all negatives in red. The Trial Balance format comes in one column balancing to zero at the bottom or two columns of debits and credits. If there is an imbalance, then it is prominently displayed, showing the amount of the difference. The Chart of Accounts template prints similar to Simply Accounting® with the advantage that you can reformat it in any way you wish.

That's not all! BizMan also comes with extra reports that do not require BizMan to run. There are several different invoice templates that you might find useful. A payroll cheque with year-to-date totals on each stub (including advances outstanding) is included. For the Pro version of the database, the stub also includes vacation pay owing. Collections reports and a sample collections letter are included to help you with your cash flow. These reports print similar to customer statements. To report directly on the Simply database, reports are included to print labels, a list of journal entries (including who posted them for the Pro version only), an inventory reorder report showing the expected cost to bring all inventory to the minimum quantities, a customer sales report grouped by province and city, and a report to show expected annual payroll costs.
