Simply Accounting 2003 has been released.  Last December, ACCPAC International, Inc. released the next generation of Simply Accounting, the only small business accounting software supported by Ridings Administrative Services Inc.  With the previous versions, we saw the added features of multi-user capabilities, dual (Basic) or multi-currency (Pro), new sales tax structures, Time and Billing (Pro only), storing 100 years of financial data (Pro only), and batch printing.

Now we have new security features, new payroll hourly rate fields, Time and Billing integrated with payroll (Pro only), multi-segment account structure to allow for Departmental reporting (Pro only) and tight integration with the new Simply Webstore program (both Basic and Pro) that can get you up and running an internet webstore to sell your products.  Continued integration with Crystal Reports (the designer comes on the CD) for report writing, and a host of smaller enhancements like default revenue accounts for customers, line comments for G/L entries, and outstanding vacation pay and advances showing in the Paycheques module as you enter an employee's pay mean that this program is getting better every year.
