Computers

Before I started selling computers, I was always recommending hardware to clients who wished to do certain things eg. network a database I just sold them, share word processing quotations, etc.  I even had an arrangement with a local computer store that they would give my clients a better price when I referred them.  Then I had a client who needed a specific network card.  I told the computer store which one to sell them, I even gave them make and model (this was in the days of LANtastic with their hardware controlled software).  After three tries, they finally got the correct card.  My client said, "why did I have to go through all this trouble over three weeks when you knew exactly which one to buy to begin with?"

The next week I went looking for distributors because she was right.  To reduce wasted time, to make sure my clients worked on hardware that was not only suitable but specifically compatible with the rest of their hardware, I started selling computers, software, printers, etc. to clients in the Golden Triangle area of Guelph, Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo, Ontario.

We sell Touch System computers.  They come with a three-year parts and labour warranty, and are completely customizable.  These are not just off-the-shelf computes but you can specify which components make up the computer.  These components are from manufacturers like Western Digital, Soundblaster, ATI Technologies, ASUS, Acer, Samsung, Envision, LG, Microsoft, 3Com, DLink, APC, etc.  These computers are all you need to set up from nothing or to replace what is already there, including network hardware and software.

In addition, if you need a new hard drive, or a new CDRW, or a new monitor, we can supply and install those also.  If you need a printer, we are an authorized Hewlett-Packard business partner outlet for small business.  Any and all low end printers including colour, toner, ink, etc. can be purchased through us.  While other printers are available, we usually only recommend HP due to their predominant quality and long-term appeal.

We also install 100 mB network cable and configure (mostly) peer-to-peer networks.  If you need two or more computers to communicate, we can do that.  We test all cables using a quality cable tester to eliminate shorts and missing links before you start using them.

If you need software, then make sure you talk to us about that when purchasing a computer.  OEM software is available with the right purchase and it is much less expensive than retail.  Microsoft Windows, MS Office, and Corel Office Suite are all available as OEM software.  Any other software you wish is also available if sold through regular channels.
